Looking younger means that you will live longer. A study undertaken in Denmark has now proved that if you look younger than your perceived age, you will probably live longer. To look younger is a sign of good physical and mental health. People thought, on a number of occasions I was much younger than I actually am. I enjoy the feeling this gives you. This immediately changes your mindset causing you to feel and think younger and fitter. You feel more alive and active and begin to act on it. I would even go so far as to say that looking younger makes you live younger.
Looking younger can be a health indicator, and found to be linked to a survival instinct. Perhaps some people have a greater survival instinct than others. Those who look younger are in better condition physically and mentally. Their genetic aging process has also been proved to be slower. Although the study shows that it is likely that there are several common genetic factors that are linked to survival, these genes have not been identified.
It is also said that” you are what you eat” or “you are what you think”. These statements reveal that the way we eat has a direct effect on the way we look and so does our state of mind. If eating correctly makes you look younger then how does your mindset affect your health? Looking younger may very well be a direct result of the state of your mind. This may give you something to chew on and think about.
Looking at all the changes in our foods today, some good and others not so good, one has to take care of what you eat. Many of the products we purchase have been subjected to preservatives and other chemicals, which can have a very negative effect on our health, in the long term. A healthy lifestyle will not only make you look younger but you will also feel better. A healthy diet will make you feel awesome and give you extra energy to enjoy your life much more. When others around you are getting sick, you will strengthen your immune system. You will be able to maintain a healthy weight, look slim, remain physically fit, and keep looking younger for longer.
It is possible that eating healthy will help you to stay alert and mentally sharp even into your old age, like at 70 or 80 years. You will look younger and be able to do the same things at 65 that you were able to do at age 20, and with the same energy. You could live to a 100 and still be physically fit, active, and even still be looking younger if you continue to maintain a healthy eating plan and lifestyle.
A healthy lifestyle and healthy eating plan will not only keep you looking younger but will also aid in the prevention of many diseases that are well known to be directly related to nutrition and diet, such as obesity, diabetes, cholesterol problems, blood pressure, stroke, cancer and heart disease. Doing a little research and getting to know more about healthy nutrition will only benefit you in the long run.
