How to start losing weight as quickly as possible

If you’re looking into losing weight quickly, but are tired of hearing hip buzzwords or fantastic scientific terms that do more spinning than provide results, then this website is for you. This website is about keeping it simple and getting results. In here, you’re not going to read about fancy diets or special meals or a bunch of other crap with complicated terms that sound intelligent to sell diet pills or “weight loss programs” or expensive chef diets that don’t help you lose weight.

This page is about what works and having NO excuses for why you cannot get results. I’m a straightforward person, and I believe that it’s the best way of helping someone. The advice on this website is from personal experience. I read a lot and experiment with what I read. Even if I disagree with what I read, I try it out to see my results. I’m now at the point where I can lose however much weight I want, whenever I want, and keep it off for as long as I want.

The most important yet simple concept that you need to know about losing weight is that if you burn more calories in a day than you consume, you will start losing weight quickly. Forget about complex carbs, sugar levels, the Atkins diet, eating six times a day, drinking eight glasses of water, or having a fast metabolism.

It doesn’t matter who you are, how old you are, how fat you are if you have thyroid problems, or if you want to give that bullshit excuse that you have a slow metabolism. If you burn more calories in a day than what you eat, you will lose weight quickly. Period.

Your eating habits matter for losing weight quickly

For a lot of people, this is easier said than done. Most people love to eat. On top of that, you get constantly advertised every day about eating this great new Margarita and cheese quesadilla from Applebee’s, Chili’s, T.G.I.F.’s, or whatever the place may be. On top of that, some “foods” add a whole lot of sugar or other substances to them so that you’ll get addicted and crave them more.

Sugar is very addictive. If you didn’t know that, now you know. To get over your eating habits, you’ll have to develop a new lifestyle. And this lifestyle isn’t that difficult to keep. Your body will adapt, which will make it easier for you.

When you get into the habit of eating less and eating better, your stomach shrinks. So you can’t eat that much anymore. And foods high in fat and bad calories are nasty to you. I’ve been on both sides. I can quickly get on the side that loves to eat Hardee’s Monster Burger, and I can quickly get on the side that makes that burger nasty to me.

I need to give my body a few days of preparation to adjust. My body and I feel a lot better when the Hardee’s Monster Burger is nasty to us. It’s not that it tastes terrible. It’s just that it makes me feel like throwing up when I’m eating it.

The eating habits that get results

Your new eating habits can start by relating them to how much weight you want to lose. For example, when I was 200 pounds, I went on my low-calorie diet and lost 20 pounds in one month. And I didn’t gain it back either.

The diet was simple: I ate a salad every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Yes, every day of that month for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I would make a massive bowl of salad and eat it throughout the day. You will start losing weight fast before you know it. I used to be hungry at first because I had a flat stomach. But I got used to it, and as my stomach shrunk, it became easier. When you get hungry, eat enough so that you’re not hungry anymore and stop. If you get hungry again in two hours, hold it off until it’s dinner time.

Your fat stomach wants food, and you have to let it know that your new eating habits require you to eat less. Don’t starve yourself, though. Just eat less food. You have to, or you won’t lose weight. Your eating habits are about having control over yourself and being disciplined.

My salad consisted of lettuce, tomato, and cucumber. I sometimes added carrots and mixed them with canned tuna or grilled chicken cut in strips. You can add broccoli, spinach, or whatever vegetables you like. Never use any salad dressing. Just season the salad with salt, vinegar, and pepper.

I was losing weight so quickly during that month that I had to eat pizza on two occasions to gain some of it back. I also drank a lot of beers during weekends, but I don’t recommend you do that. If you are disciplined by what you eat every day, you can cheat every once in a while. Just make sure you make good progress before you cheat.

Developing proper exercise habits is the key

During that month, I also exercised about four times a week. I went to the gym working on the bike machines for 20-30 minutes. If you want to lose weight quick, you have to put in the effort. You burn more calories by running, but I hate running, so I did the bikes. Exercising every day is essential for health reasons, and it will also help you burn calories. Eating right is more important than exercise for losing weight, but I highly encourage you to do both.

If you can’t run, then walk every day. But do something active. Get away from the TV and the internet, and stop making that lame excuse that you’re “tired” from work, so you can’t get out and walk. If it’s cold outside, join a gym. Your gym membership and the cost of gasoline to drive to it are far less expensive than your future health problems.

Why not work smarter and harder?

Now you don’t have to eat salads every day, all day, but you do have to eat foods low in calories and fat. I recommend eating salads every day until you get closer to the weight you want to be, and then you can go back to eating more balanced meals. Right now, I usually eat rice, vegetables, and some meat. I eat this for lunch and dinner.

Sometimes I substitute the rice for pasta or potatoes. For breakfast, I eat eggs almost every day as soon as I get back from lifting weights at the gym. I also eat fruits during the day whenever I’m hungry. And it’s usually bananas because they are cheap and packed with nutrition. And sometimes I’ll snack on a can of tuna. I eat the tuna plain right from the can with a fork.

Foods that you simply should never eat

Losing weight quickly becomes impossible if you eat these foods. The following is a list of foods you should never eat if you want to lose weight fast while being healthy. It’s a simple list, and just following it will significantly impact your weight loss goals. Your stomach will get used to eating better, and it will become easy to maintain that healthy lifestyle.

  • Don’t drink soda ever. The amount of bad sugar in it is astronomical. Don’t drink diet soda either.
  • Don’t drink juices ever. The amount of bad sugar in them is also earth-shattering. Even the “100% Natural” juices are less than 10% natural. Just drink water. If you need to drink something with flavor, tough shit. Drink water and suck it up. If you want vitamins, eat real fruits.
  • Don’t drink vitamin water for the reasons stated above.
  • Don’t eat cheese ever. Eat your subway sub without the cheese. Don’t use Parmesan cheese on that pasta either. Just don’t do it.
  • Don’t drink beer or cocktails. Drink vodka straight or “on the rocks”. Even if you love Cosmopolitans and fruity drinks. Tough shit. Drink your liquor straight.
  • Don’t eat ice cream ever.
  • Don’t eat TV dinners, frozen dinners, or anything similar. This really should go without saying.
  • Don’t eat snacks ever. Don’t eat chips, dips, donuts, pretzels, or cookies of any kind. The only snacks you’re allowed to eat are plain yogurt, fruits, and plain nuts. And I’m talking the plain kind with no salt or honey-roasted, or any other flavor added. Eat the ones that taste like cardboard.
  • Don’t eat mayonnaise ever. Eat your sandwich with mustard. The plain mustard. I eat the grilled chicken sandwich at the subway with no cheese, no mayonnaise, and no oil. I have them add most of the other condiments, though, especially carrots and peppers. I like it spicy!
  • Never eat out at restaurants. I know this one is difficult because it’s lunchtime at work, and your lazy-ass didn’t pack any lunch.

I don’t know the stats, but I’m willing to bet that eating out is the number one reason people can’t lose weight (well, that and TV dinners). The food industry doesn’t care about your health. They only care about their food tasting good. So they will fry your food with the worst quality oil, and they will load it up with salt, fat, and sugar to make your meal taste good.

I don’t care if it’s a 5-star restaurant, your fresh local Chipotle, or a hip “100% organic” restaurant. Don’t eat out, period. There are a few exceptions. You can eat out and get a salad, but –don’t use any salad dressing. Many salads are worse for you than a Big Mac. If you have to eat out because you were a lazy bum that day, eat half, and only half, of whatever portion they give you.

  • Don’t add sugar to your coffee. And don’t drink the cappuccinos, frappuccinos, mocha lattes, or any of that other junk they sell at Starbucks. Drink your coffee plain. If you don’t like the taste, tough shit. Suck it up.
  • Avoid eating flour. Don’t eat breaded chicken or fish. If you want to fry them, brown the sides. You can use a little oil to prevent them from sticking to the pot.

I mean, never eat this stuff until you get to a moderate weight when I say never. Then, you can cheat and eat the high-calorie and unhealthy food listed above every once in a while. Right now, I don’t eat cheese, but there will be a time in the future when I start eating it again.

Just be sure you’ve made good progress before you cheat yourself. Remember to follow the list above because you want to keep losing weight quickly. I highly recommend you print the list above and tape it on your refrigerator so you can see it every day. Print one for your room, too, right next to your computer. Reminding yourself of what you should be doing will make the transition easier.

Adjusting to change is never easy – Be proactive

Like I said before, adjusting to a healthy lifestyle is easy because your body adjusts to it. So listen to your body. Soon enough, you’ll start getting used to the taste of plain coffee. You’ll begin to feel nauseous when you eat foods that are high in fat in calories. Your stomach will shrink, and you won’t be able to eat an entire portion at a restaurant. I sure as hell can’t, and I’m delighted my stomach is telling me that I can’t finish it.

One of the most important things to do to stay on the proper lifestyle is to cook everything you eat yourself. You already know what is and isn’t healthy. You’ve known it since you were ten years old. And it hasn’t changed since you were ten years old.

There are no new great health studies for losing fast or miracle complex carbohydrate diets. What worked 4,000 years ago still works today. Use your common sense and control what you eat. Take your snacks to work. Don’t eat at restaurants. Become a disciplined person.

I made the weight loss tips on this site simple so that they’re easy to follow, and you would do them. Trying to follow a complicated eating plan is just setting you up for failure. Instead, get used to eating healthy and exercising every day, and you will begin losing weight quickly. And it will stay off permanently. It will happen regardless of your situation or any excuse you want to use for not losing weight quickly. Mother Nature has and will always be correct.
